The Cent Journal Series: A Modern Anthology of Miami Poets, is a regularly-appearing D.I.Y. literary publication printed and assembled in one night and distributed locally in Miami-Dade County. A joint publication between the Miami Poetry Collective and the University of Wynwood Press, The Cent Journal does not accept submissions of individual works.
Our mission is to identify, grow, and nurture Miami writers—of any age—so we function more like a music label than a literary journal. Once our writers are "signed" with us, we do our best to promote them and their work, without placing any legally-binding or profit-seeking restrictions upon either. Each issue of Cent Journal then is not so much a "Best Of" collection, but a snapshot of the city's literary life, which, as it's in constant motion, may occasionally come out a little blurry.
